3 Days In The Desert is a photographic essay that pairs the urban environment of Las Vegas against the natural landscapes of the surrounding Mojave Desert over the span of a three day road trip.

Starting in Las Vegas, I realized there were similar forms of perceived loneliness between each space. I felt as alienated within the strip as I did in the middle of the Mojave. Driving West, I slowly began to realize how informed each environment was of one another; in the colours and contours of the land and architecture.

Mirroring the effects that unnatural manipulations have had on natural landscapes through photography only furthers the discussion about the state of nature and the representation of what is natural.
